Additive 423 is a fine black graphite powder that can be mixed with epoxy to produce a low-friction, more scratch-resistant and durable exterior coating.
Epoxy/graphite is commonly used as a low-load, low-speed bearing surface, as a coating on rudders and daggerboards, or on the bottom of racing boats that run dry.

It does not have anti-fouling properties.
The epoxy/graphite mixture turns black as it cures.
Add to resin/hardener mixture at 10% by volume or 1.5 tablespoons to 8 fl oz. of epoxy.
Used as a coating on rudders, daggerboards or bottoms of dry sail racing boats.
Caution: does not provide antifouling quality.
