Two-component epoxy primer for better adhesion on porous or friable substrates.
The Prepox primer is a two-component epoxy primer for laying resins, floor paints, waxed concrete on concrete and its derivatives, and agglomerated wood. It blocks the dust by blocking the pores of the support.
Good resistance to wear, abrasion to acids, bases, oils, diesel.
Easy application, no shrinkage, epoxy-coated, polyurethane, waxed concrete
Average UV resistance
Main uses: primary, anti-dust, zero-shot
For a primer roll application, 0.250 to 0.400 kg / m² depending on the porosity of the substrate
For a zero shot, application to the squeegee smooth or notched 1 to 2kg / m²
For a mortar, application to the plate, 5mm thick, the consumption is 11 kg / m² and 10mm thick, the consumption is 22kg / m²
Substrate preparation: Substrates must be dry, free from dust, grease, oil, moisture, curing compound, friable or non-adherent parts and they must not undergo capillary rise in moisture. The stripping is done by mechanical action (sanding, planing, shot blasting, diamond sanding).
Mix preparation: The components (Comp.A resin + hardener Comp.B) are delivered pre-dosed. They should be mixed for 2.5 to 3 minutes at a speed of 400 rpm with an electric stirrer equipped with a helical pale (not right) diameter about 2.5 times smaller than the diameter of the bucket.
For a draw to zero: Add quartz HN 34 / HN 38 in a ratio of 1kg to 1kg. Application to the raclette.
For a mortar: First mix the 2 components and then incorporate our mortar aggregates or quartz HN 31 in a ratio of 1 kg PREPOX (resin + hardener) for 6 kg of quartz or aggregates. Spread the mixture over the cool primer and the trowel with a steel drier.
