Substrate preparation: Substrates must be dry, free of dust, grease, oil, moisture, curing compound, friable or non-adherent parts and they must not undergo capillary damping.
The stripping is done by mechanical action (sanding, planing, shot blasting, diamond sanding).
The use of our PREPOX solvent-free epoxy primer is highly recommended for EPOXY MORTAR thicknesses of less than 10 mm.
Mix preparation: The components (Comp A resin + Comp B hardener + Comp C aggregates) are delivered pre-dosed. It is advisable to mix the components A + B during 2,5 to 3 mn at a speed of 400 rpm with an electric stirrer equipped with a helical pale (not to the right) of a diameter about 2.5 times smaller than the diameter of the seal.
In a suitable container, (50 liter trash can) pour the hardener resin mixture and add the aggregates (Comp.C). Mix the mixture with a stirrer of sufficient power until the aggregates have been completely coated. For quantities greater than 50 kg, use a concrete mixer or special mixer
Application: Spread the mixture on the floor using a ruler, smooth with a stainless steel or steel plate.
In case of thickness less than 10 mm a PREPOX precoat is necessary at a rate of 0.250 Kg / m².
